Track bases for model railways

Model-Track is a system of track bases for model railways.

It is aimed at the finescale modeller in the smaller scales, but because it is so easy to use it can readily be used by almost any modeller in almost any scale.

Each track base is a single piece that includes a base, sleepers and chairs. The base maintains the positional relationship between the sleepers and the chairs provide the realism. Model-Track parts are made from appropriately textured nylon or resin. Being made of these materials means that the modeller simply glues their rails into the sleeper chairs. This removes the need to solder rails to chairs and chairs to sleepers, so removing the soldering barrier that has traditionally deterred so many from finescale modelling.

Model-Track parts were originally developed for use in 2mm finescale modelling,and so are available as a range of standard parts that include all of the common track configurations (including plain track) for that scale.

The Model-Track manufacturing process lends itself perfectly to the production of custom Model-Track parts. This means that parts can be readily produced to order in almost any gauge or scale. Model-Track can even be used by modellers of 3-rail or multi-gauge systems.

All parts are designed for use with either plain or bullhead rails.
